Preventing Foodborne Illness Through Training
In an effort to help ensure the health and safety of our program participants and the people they serve, MCSIG will be offering a ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification course, accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP). The course will be offered this spring and is open to all locations insured in MCSIG's workers comp program.
The ServSafe training blends the latest FDA food code with food safety research and years of food sanitation training experience. Managers learn to implement essential food safety practices and create a culture of food safety. All content and materials are based on actual job tasks identified by foodservice industry experts.
